  • The FSV is a 205-foot-long by 32-foot-wide state-of-the-art Class 2-equipped Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessel. It has built in redundancies that no single fault in will cause any one system to fail. It’s Dynamic Positioning maintains the ship’s position by using its own propellers and thrusters.

    Echelon Defense ships will utilize the Beier IVCS 2000 2000 DP2 Integrated Vessel Control Systems coupled with the two (2) Thrustmaster 30” Od Electric Tunnel Thrusters. This allows for the ship to stay automatically on a certain fixed station, maneuver around or in and out of tight proximities, as well as land and other offshore obstacles with ease

  • Echelon Defenses’ Military Variant known as the Cajun Class Offshore Patrol Vessel or “OPV”, was designed and engineered to be a long endurance, long range and fast reconnaissance Vessel. With speeds of up to 32+ knots and support long range missions of 8,500+ NMI or remain at sea for long durations of up to 31+ Days.

    The Cajun Class can also host a number of deck emplaced defensive systems, many of which are already in use in various other vessels, and fleets.
